On our Las Vegas car accident chiropractor blog, we are going to focus on several health updates activities which are very practical and efficient. First, we shall begin with a series of brain exercises

Exercise #1: Still eyes, Moving Head

Keeping your eyes still, hold a pen at a reasonable distance just before your eyes and stare at it while making circular motions from side to side with your head for up to ten times. You can stop whenever you feel dizzy but remember to try after resting. Repeat doing this for three times a day to get the best outcomes

Brain Exercise #2: Still head, Moving Eyes

With your head static, hold a pen as far as possible from your body and start moving it in a circular motion while following the movement with your eyes without letting the pen out of sight. If you start feeling dizzy, stop and give it a try later the same day when feeling better. Do this for three times on a daily basis.

Brain Exercise #3: Balancing when Standing Test

While Standing, keep your feet close together and your shoulders wide apart. In the event whereby you feel unsteady. Maintain a steady posture for 30 seconds with your eyes closed, then 30 more with your eyes open. If you feel shaky, keep doing this exercise more often until you notice an improvement with your eyes closed. You can consider doing several variations like placing one foot behind the other interchanging feet after each test. A more complex one is balancing on one foot (Changing from left to right in every test) with your eyes open, then after with closed eyes and the most advanced exercise is positioning your body near a corner of a room and preventing yourself from falling by trying to catch yourself
Take note that these exercises are not specifically meant for the neck, we have several series of activities intended for that. Instead, these exercises make use of eye and head coordination, movements and balance exercises meant to address brain whiplash symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, memory loss, poor concentration and other post-concussion symptoms. These challenges are vital since they exercise our bodies neuro pathways and the network in our entire body’s nervous system. This ensures free and flawless information flow from our brain to the spinal cord, eyes, ears and other body parts This will, in turn, help our bodies to function in a much safer and better way when carrying on our daily activities. In addition to these exercises, whiplash can be treated by changing daily lifestyle habits like taking short breaks between work intervals which allow your brain to relax and refocus If you’re uncomfortable or afraid of doing these exercises on your own, our car accident chiropractor can assist you in doing them
